Fay trained as a young dancer locally in Leicestershire, working under the Royal Academy of Dance & The International Dance Teachers Association. At the age of 18, Fay was accepted to Merseyside Dance & Drama Centre in Liverpool to train professionally. After 3 years training, Fay was awarded a Distinction Diploma in Dance & Dance Teaching accredited by MDDC. Fay also obtained Teaching status with ISTD in Classical Ballet, Tap & Modern Theatre, with the IDTA in Classical Ballet, Modern Jazz, Tap Dance & Freestyle. Fay has since been awarded full teaching status with the Royal Academy of Dance and completing the Academy’s Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies.
After teaching for several schools in Leicestershire Fay opened The Dance Factory in September 2006 and continues to be the Principal today. Fay continues to develop her training through CPD with the dance societies and strives to be a current and informed teacher and principal.
